Iam Christian Tucker serves as the President and CEO of Integrated Logistical Support, Inc. (ILSI Engineering).

Founded over two decades ago, ILSI Engineering is a 100% female, minority owned, 8(a) Certified civil engineering firm that provides highly qualified, cost-effective services in the civil engineering field. ILSI Engineering specializes in sewer, water, streets, and drainage design projects, as well as Program and Construction Management.

Mrs. Tucker is responsible for the day-to-day management, direction, business development and implementation of policy for all the firms internal and external project controls.

Since assuming the 2nd generation ownership of ILSI over 13 years ago, she has generated a commendable record of corporate achievements for herself and the company, highlighting over 100+ contract awards across various state, local and federal agencies since assuming the helm of the company. She has grown the company from 9 people to the 40+ employees that the firm employs in projects locally and nationally.

Mrs. Tucker is a passionate advocate for the City of New Orleans and the people within it. She is a member of the non-partisan advocacy group African American Women of Purpose and Power. She is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and of Cohort 5 of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program at Delgado Community College, of the WBENC-Tuck at Dartmouth Executive Education Program. Mrs. Tucker is an executive board member of The New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation, a cause near and dear to her heart and background as a former police officer at the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Mrs. Tucker was a member of Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s Transition Team Board of Advisors where she served on several task forces and is also on the board of The Industrial Development Board (IDB) of the City of New Orleans, Crescent City Corps, and The Greater New Orleans Inc Next Gen Board. She is also the Vice Chair of the Governor’s Louisiana Small Business Entrepreneurship Expansion Council.

Some of her most notable achievements were being an honoree in the 2012 Gambit 40 under 40 class at age 29, voted the Times-Picayune “2014 Reader’s Choice – Minority Business of the Year” as well as, Essence Magazine, to find and identify Ms. Tucker as 1 of “10 things we’re talking about” in the August 2015 Issue of Essence Magazine. This was a 10th Anniversary of Katrina edition of Essence Magazine in which they captioned her “TheFixer”, for her and her firm’s work to Renew New Orleans. She has also been honored by The Orchid Society for young women and girls, Voted De La Salle High School’s Alumni of the Year for 2019, and will be accepting an award from the Governor of Louisiana in March of 2019 for being one of Louisiana Economic Development’s “Louisiana Growth Leaders”, and is a 2020 recipient of LSU’s Esprit De Femmes Award.

When not immersed in the daily management of her firm, she is involved in causes that bring purpose to her passions. She has received several awards by many organizations for her advocacy and empowerment of young girls and women, and for her outspoken advocacy of diversity & economic inclusion. As a former Baton Rouge police officer, she brings clarity and a fresh perspective to issues of social justice and in support of voting rights. Mrs. Tucker is not afraid to embrace and confront the uncomfortable issues that effect change.

Iam is most proud of her recent marriage to her best friend Candace Tucker, and the initiative they created called #LocalHeroesChallenge. Their challenge gained national recognition amid the Pandemic for delivering fresh meals to over 6,000 1st responders, hospital staff, delivery drivers, longshoreman, and many others.

Iam’s vision for the future is to continue leading the way in charismatic service of clients, community, and her family.
