Drew is a Business Development Manager in Offshore Wind for Shell Renewables and Energy Solutions, heading up positioning Shell for new market opportunities across the Americas.

 

Drew was instrumental in scenario framing, commercial and investment decisions for both U.S. market entry offshore lease acquisitions in 2018, leading to the creation of Mayflower and Atlantic Shores Wind Joint Ventures in the North East. Just prior to offshore wind, Drew led the Asset Management Team for Shell's onshore wind /solar 700 MW Joint Venture project portfolio, responsible for commercial management and financial performance to include optimizing merchant energy sales within multiple U.S. power markets. Outside of renewable power project management, Drew’s held various regional 3rd party contract deal making and global level strategic sourcing consultancy roles within Downstream Refining; along with time in Shell’s Retail Fuels business influencing strategic investment decision making as a fiduciary Shareholder Representative for two Shell Non-Operated Joint Ventures over his 15 year Shell tenure.

 

Prior to Shell, Drew began his career in the U.S. Army as a Telecommunications Officer, where he held various leadership and staff responsibilities, which included two wartime deployments to Iraq in 2003 and 2005. Systems Engineering graduate from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and holds an MBA from San Francisco State University. Currently resides in Houston, TX with his wife and two children.
