Adrienne C. Slack

Adrienne C. Slack is vice president and regional executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta ("Atlanta Fed"), New Orleans Branch. As part of her role, Adrienne is responsible for the New Orleans Branch Board of Directors, regional Energy Advi­sory Council, and for providing insight and counsel to the Atlanta Fed's monetary policy process. She also contributes to the Atlanta Fed's strategic planning process and advises on regional commu­nity and economic development matters, including economic mo­bility and resilience.

 

She joined the Federal Reserve System in 1990 with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' economic research department. During her tenure, she served in several national leadership roles, in­cluding an assignment at the Board of Governors in Washington, DC. Prior to assuming her current role in 2012, Ms. Slack was the New Orleans Branch assistant vice president and branch opera­tions officer with responsibility for currency services, law enforcement, and facility & support services.

 

Adrienne is involved in a number of activities, including the Unit­ ed Way of Southeast Louisiana Board of Trustees, University of Southern Mississippi College of Business Advisory Council, and Louisiana Association of United Way ALICE (Asset Limited In­ come Constrained Employed) Advisory Committee. In 2006, she was honored by New Orleans CityBusiness at its Women of the Year event.

 

Raised in Mississippi, Ms. Slack received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in eco­nomics from the University of Southern Mississippi. She also completed the Executive Development program at Dartmouth College.
