A life-long New Orleans native, Max stays involved in the local community performing data analysis and strategic operational/financial oversight on a variety of boards across the city and state. As a full-time student, Max worked as a Manager for Dickie Brennan & Co., performing bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and human capital management duties.

After graduating from Tulane, Max joined Teach For America and spent several years teaching high school math at East St. John in Reserve, LA. His time as an educator exposed him to a huge gap in financial literacy existing throughout the state. This sparked a passion for educating and assisting people in complex financial matters, and he incorporated personal finance into his math classes.

Max began his finance career in 2015 with one of the largest private wealth management teams in the region - assisting in the management of over $2 billion in client assets.

In 2017, Max joined the FreeGulliver team and is now a Senior Consultant and plans to sit for the Certified Financial Planner Exam in May of 2022. His duties include, comprehensive financial/retirement planning, executive stock compensation management, risk analysis and mitigation, geo-political trend analysis, as well as 401(k) and other business consulting services. Max’s favorite times are spent with his wife and two daughters in Faubourg St. John.
